MaiTantBikes is the fulfilment of a dream that brings together two personal passions: cycling and a privileged natural environment, with Sort as our starting point.
My name is Stavros. I was born in Greece, and today I am fortunate to live and work in one of the most spectacular places in the Pyrenees: Pallars Sobirà, a land of towering mountains, endless trails and wild nature. Bikes have been part of my life from a very young age. I started purely out of passion and eventually turned my love of cycling into a way of life.
My favourite discipline is enduro, a form of riding that has not only given me unforgettable moments but also inspired me to train as an instructor and guide certified by the PMBAI (Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association International). Thanks to this training, I can offer safe, exciting rides adapted to every level, from beginners to experienced riders looking for technical and challenging routes.
But my passion for bikes goes far beyond the handlebars. I am fascinated by mechanics, engineering and adaptability. That is why I also decided to specialise in this field and obtained the official bicycle mechanics certification from EMEB (Escola de Mecànica de la Bicicleta). At MaiTantBikes, I personally inspect, repair and prepare every bike, whether it is for sale, rental or the workshop services we provide every day.
MaiTantBikes was born from this dual vocation: sharing routes and adventures on two wheels while taking care of every technical detail so that your experience is comfortable, safe and exciting. We are based in Sort, but our routes explore the whole of Pallars, from forest trails and panoramic tracks to epic descents for the most adventurous riders.
Whether you are looking for a family outing, an e-bike ride as a couple or a pure enduro adventure, at MaiTantBikes you will find a tailor-made experience with a friendly approach, professionalism and deep respect for the natural environment.
For me, living in the mountains is not just a choice: it is a way of understanding life. Sharing it with you by bike is the true driving force behind this project. We offer a bicycle repair workshop, bike rental for exploring the Alt Pirineu, and we are also official Mondraker dealers for the sale of their bicycles, as well as an Official Bosch Workshop (among others).

Our vision
Maitantbikes aims to become a local and regional benchmark for mountain biking and sustainable mobility, promoting a model of active tourism that respects the environment. We see ourselves as a mountain-based company capable of offering unique experiences on two wheels, built on technical quality, personalised service and a love for the region. We want to contribute to the sustainable development of Pallars Sobirà by making cycling a way to explore, connect and transform the way we experience and move through nature, as an expression of sustainable, responsible and healthy tourism.

At Maitantbikes, we work so that everyone —whether a casual rider or an expert— can enjoy cycling in the privileged surroundings of Pallars Sobirà, combining sport, nature and sustainability. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, accessible and high-quality service ranging from bicycle rental and sales to specialised technical maintenance, along with guided and self-guided routes and friendly, personalised support. We want every customer to find much more than a shop or workshop at Maitantbikes: a meeting point for people, the region and a shared passion for cycling.
